Sensei Lāna’i, A Four Seasons Resort, is looking for an Assistant Director of Rooms who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. Work authorization required.

Sensei Lāna’i, a Four Seasons Resort located on the Hawaiian island of Lāna‘i.

• Provide strategic leadership across the Rooms Division, including hiring, training, performance management, and long‑term planning to drive operational excellence and profitability.
• Oversee financial performance through budgeting, labor management, cost control, inventory, and forecasting to maximize efficiency and profitability.
• Ensure consistent adherence to service standards, conducting inspections and implementing action plans based on quality audits and guest feedback (e.g., Forbes, LQA, employee surveys).
• Foster employee engagement through hands‑on leadership, promoting a positive, inclusive culture and strong relationships with team members and the community.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to oversee arrivals, departures, VIP guests, and group operations.
• Maintain a visible presence with guests, handling escalated concerns, driving service recovery, and fostering loyalty through proactive engagement.
• Further responsibilities as assigned.

• Legal work authorization in the United States (or eligible for L‑1 visa sponsorship if currently in a managerial position at another Four Seasons location).
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and push/pull as needed during shifts.
• Extensive knowledge of Rooms Division operations with expertise in Housekeeping, Front Desk, and Guest Services. Wellness experience preferred, but not required.
• Availability to work the hospitality industry schedule seven days a week, 24 hours a day, with holidays and weekend availability required.

• Salary Range: $110,000 – $125,000.
