Lead Steward

- Responsibilities:
Lead, train, coach, and evaluate Stewarding team members, ensuring adherence to service, safety, sanitation, and company standards while fostering a positive and productive work environment;
Supervise daily stewarding operations, including dishwashing, sanitation, waste management, and cleaning schedules to maintain efficient kitchen support and operational readiness;
Clean and sanitize china, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment, ensuring proper handling, storage, and maintenance of all service ware;
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout kitchens, production areas, walk-ins, coolers, drains, floors, walls, and stewarding equipment in accordance with health and safety standards;
Oversee stewarding carts, waste disposal processes, and overall organization of back-of-house areas to ensure a clean, safe, and efficient working environment;
Ensure the proper use, storage, labeling, and handling of cleaning chemicals and materials in compliance with safety regulations and MSDS requirements;
Conduct pre-shift meetings, recognize team performance, and maintain a visible leadership presence to promote communication, teamwork, and operational excellence
