House Attendant, Full Time

Opportunity Awaits on the beautiful Island of Hawaii... King Kamehameha Kona Beach Resort Courtyard by Marriott currently has an opening for a talented Full Time Housekeeping House Attendant to share the aloha spirit and strive to create a memorable guest experience.

Brief Summary of Job:
Clean and supply assigned Hotel areas according to standards. Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the job include but are not limited to:

• Maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times, while providing personalized service to hotel guests.
• Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members.
• Daily cleaning and general upkeep of room attendant linen closets.
• Provide linen supplies for Room Attendants and stock floor closets.
• Pick up bed and other linen from hotel floors and transport to laundry collection site.
• Deliver and retrieve miscellaneous goods and supplies to guest rooms as requested by Housekeeping supervisors.
• Empty rubbish.
• Move heavy furniture or equipment when needed.
• Report any missing/found articles, or damage to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Provide assistance to other team members and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and hotel.
• Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management.

Requirements Knowledge/Education/

Experience:

Minimum of one (1) year experience in a similar or related position. Skills/Abilities/Other Requirements:
Basic cleaning skills. Ability to prioritize, organize and make good judgments. Ability to communicate in English with guests, management and fellow team members to their understanding desirable. Dependable.
