Location: Koloa
Hourly rate: $20.50 an hour.
Responsibilities- Work closely with the Front Desk team to help guests get to their rooms smoothly and deliver luggage.
- Assist guests with their cars, both upon arrival and departure, and park them safely.
- Maintain warm and hospitable guest relations in all guest contact.
- Respond to individual guest needs as they arise.
- Greet guests and issue valet tickets for vehicles while filing and securing valet keys.
- Securely park or retrieve guest vehicles when requested.
- Escort incoming/new arrival guests to the front desk.
- Assist guests with luggage and deliver it to guest rooms.
- Provide information on available hotel services, nearby points of interest, and entertainment attractions.
- Deliver messages, packages/mail, luggage, and run errands as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls.
- Keep the storage room neat and clean.
- Polish, clean, and maintain equipment and vehicles.
- Report items in need of repair to supervisors or managers.
- Ensure guest safety and well‑being; be courteous to all guests and colleagues.
- Adapt to high‑pressure conditions and be open to change.
- Take responsibility for personal growth and development.
- Conduct oneself professionally and set standards for others.
- Express ideas and convey information clearly, effectively, and professionally.
- Proficiency in English to communicate effectively with guests, associates, and vendors.
- Knowledge of all hotel departments and functions.
- Good mathematical and computer skills.
- Ability to actively listen to others.
- Ability to lift and pull a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs—walking, stooping, balancing, and handling materials.
- Team‑player mindset.
- Ability to tolerate moderate amounts of walking.
- Capability to operate automatic and manual vehicles.
- Preferred:
Bell/Valet attendant experience. - Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a clean driving abstract for a minimum of three years.
