Retail Sales Associate (Casual) - Grand Wailea, A Waldorf Astoria Resort

The gorgeous Waldorf Astoria Resort in Maui, Grand Wailea, is looking for a Retail Sales Associate to join this incredible team! Located on 40 acres of lush tropical gardens, this Forbes 4-Star property is consistently ranked among the world's best resorts with 780 rooms, 100,000 square feet of banquet space, and 7 food and beverage outlets. This includes 3 restaurants, 3 bars, a cafe, and in-room dining.

- Classification:
Casual (2-3 days per week)

- Shift: Varies - 10-hour shift. Must be able to provide at least two (2) days with open availability.

- Pay Rate:  The pay rate for this role is $19.92 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location. The ideal candidate will have at least six (6) months customer service is required and a flexible schedule to include days, nights, weekends and holidays. Want to learn more? As a Retail Associate, you’re not just selling merchandise – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest. Here's what you'll do during a typical day:

- Delight our guests:
Greet guests upon arrival and provide friendly and efficient service to enhance the shopping experience
- Drive retail sales:
Highlight promotions and provide product recommendations to enhance the guest experience and maximize profitability
- Be a product expert:
Offer guidance on merchandise, styling, and pricing to help customers make informed purchases
- Process transactions with care:
Accurately total and handle guest payments using the point-of-sale system; manage cash transactions, process credit and debit cards, issue change, and redeem gift certificates/cards
- Package and fulfill orders:
Wrap merchandise and prepare orders for shipments
- Monitor inventory:
