Position: Guest Service Ambassador (Full Time)

Guest Service Ambassador (Belldesk & Valet)

The Guest Service Ambassador (Belldesk & Valet) maintains the highest standard of service at the Porte Cochere (front entrance) at all times by always lending a helping hand with a smile, escorting guests and providing assistance with transportation and luggage.

What you will be doing:

  • Assist guests at arrival and departure with vehicle loading and unloading, vehicle retrieval and parking, rooming guests and luggage retrieval
  • Support expeditors and shuttle service when needed
  • As needed, perform room moves, guest room deliveries such as, but not limited to, luggage, packages, envelopes, gifts, flowers, and group amenities
  • Assist with group transportation and luggage movements as necessary
  • Execute group activities including luggage and amenity deliveries, assisting with arrival and departure patterns for the day and communicate with MOD on any statuses.
  • Coordinate group activity movements including off-site excursions, golf course transportation, whether by Hotel Shuttle or DMC/ Transportation charter and assist where required.
  • Provide unique experiences to all of our guests through warm, personal & detailed service in a luxury, upscale and fast paced environment.
  • Ensure a positive first impression of the resort for our guests through detailed cleanliness, set-up and ambiance control.
  • Try to remember individual's names and their preferences to extend a personalized service
  • Assist other rooms division departments with their operations during peak times or when required
  • Apply necessary precautions with regards to the hotel safety and hygiene standards (HACCP)
  • Be well versed in hotel fire & life safety/emergency procedures
  • Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times
  • Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the Management of the Hotel

Your experience and skills include:

  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
  • Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
  • Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage
  • Ability to work cohesively and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Detailed & service oriented with an eye for detail to be self-motivated and energetic.
  • Valid Driver's License

Hourly Rate: $18.00 USD + tips

Visa Requirements: Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining U.S. work authorization.
