Senior Field Service Engineer

Leidos seeks a Senior Field Service Engineer to support mission-critical IT and software systems for government and commercial clients. In this role, you will install, configure, and maintain complex hardware, software, and networked systems at customer sites; troubleshoot and resolve incidents; perform system upgrades; and document all work. You will collaborate with engineering and cyber teams to implement secure, resilient solutions, train end users, and provide on-call support.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain IT and software systems at customer sites
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in the field
• Perform system upgrades, patches, and preventive maintenance
• Document service activities, configurations, and incident resolutions
• Collaborate with engineering, cyber, and project teams on deployments
• Train end users on system operation and best practices
• Support integration and testing of new solutions in production environments
• Provide on-call or after-hours support as required by mission needs
• Ensure compliance with security, safety, and quality standards
• Identify opportunities to improve system reliability and service processes
