PARALEGAL​/UNDERWRITER

We're looking for a skilled Paralegal / Underwriter to join our team and make an impact by evaluating risk, preparing critical legal documents, and supporting commercial transactions from start to finish. • Prepare and evaluate title reports to determine insurability and compliance with title underwriting requirements.
• Review customer instructions to determine whether the transaction meets the limits of the policy requested.
• Perform risk analysis and problem resolution on technical issues.
• Prepare pertinent legal documents such as correction deeds, affidavits for in-house legal review.
• Based on the conditions of a transaction, determine acceptable underwriting risks and when necessary, work closely with underwriting authorities to obtain required approvals.
• Organize and properly maintain the necessary documentation for a complete underwriting file.
• Serve as technical resource for staff, internal and external customers.
• A minimum of 3 years paralegal experience is required.
