Clean Harbors is seeking a Remediation Supervisor for Kapolei, HI. The Remediation Supervisor is primarily responsible for leading and supervising crews in the field on projects. This position is responsible for activities at customer sites and helping with onsite projects. Travel as needed around Hawaii and to CONUS possible.
****** This position requires experience with civil or remediation experience with soil/dirt projects.

Kapolei, Hawaii or commutable daily to this location
Pay: $26-36 per/HR - DOE; OT as needed to support projects
~Per Diem available daily, hourly competitive pay rates, travel costs covered by the company. The typical work schedule is 6 weeks on the road and then 1-week home if traveling away from Hawaii.

- Meet with customers as needed to ensure customer satisfaction and to resolve any pending complaints or issues;
- Participate in joint calls with specialists as needed and maintain a professional image when dealing with customers;
- Maintain up‑to‑date confined space supervisor and emergency response supervisor certifications;
- Manage large scale field service and emergency response projects when directed;
- Understand and work with the Coordinator in the communication of manpower, equipment and resources required to complete field service and emergency response projects;
- Act as the on‑call coordinator on an as needed basis;
- Oversee projects for Health and Safety, profitability, completeness and professionalism;
- Responsible for H&S issues surrounding projects assigned, including reviewing operational procedures to assure correct H&S action plans and communicate effectively with the H&S organization regarding onsite specific action;
- Respond immediately when on-call or secure proper coverage, and communicate replacement name to supervisor/manager;
- Enforce and ensure OSHA, EPA and H&S standards or regulations are complaint;
- Responsible for the timely reporting of work‑related accidents or incidents to immediate supervisor;
- Performs other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management and will be required by the needs of the Clean Harbors business.
- Minimum High School education required;
- 10+ years of experience in Civil or Remediation dirt/soil projects preferred;
- BS/BA in ASC or BS/BA Preferred;
- Emergency response supervisor training and Marine Spill Response training preferred;
- Knowledge of scoping and pricing Field Service work;
- Knowledge of Federal, state and local environmental regulations;
- Knowledge of various types of equipment;
- Proficiency in Windows based applications.
- 3-5 years of experience in remediation or similar preferred;
- 3-5 years of experience in environmental field service operations preferred;
- 2-4 years supervisory experience preferred;
- Valid DL and acceptable MVR required
; - Will have to pass a DBIDS federal background after hire to maintain access to the Hawaii site
; - Ability to travel around Hawaii and occasionally to the CONUS.
- This position is physically demanding, and candidates must be able to navigate varying site conditions where steep slopes and rugged terrain may be present and walk several miles per day. Candidates must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted and wear personal protective equipment that may restrict movement, when required.
