Senior Project Manager – Overview
The Senior Project Manager leads cross‑functional teams to manage multiple construction and renovation projects across a large geographic area for enterprise, consumer goods, and services clients. Responsibilities include overseeing projects from initiation through completion, managing design professionals, contractors, stakeholders and ensuring projects meet established goals and financial targets.
Core Responsibilities- Hands‑on management and oversight of multiple projects, including renovations, building infrastructure, large remodels, and new construction with ground‑up experience.
- Concurrent management of all project phases—initiation, design, planning, client approval, permit issuance, construction, and financial closeout—across various locations.
- Full accountability for end‑to‑end project execution, including schedule, budget, risk, and scope.
- Lead the project team comprising architects, engineers, general and specialty contractors, property management, operating engineers, and client stakeholders.
- Provide weekly project activity updates to the Team Lead covering schedule, potential risks, budget status and anticipated cash flow using JLL technology.
- Develop risk management plans and guide teams through work authorization processes to avoid impacts or incidents in critical environments.
- Participate in or lead client decision making, presenting data, formal recommendations and risk assessments for client approval.
- Oversee preparation of accurate project documentation—project charter, due diligence reports, budgets, schedules, meeting minutes, funding requests, status reports, punch lists and special reports—ensuring they are on‑time and meet client review standards.
- Manage vendors to ensure compliance with all project policies, including formal close‑out of projects within 90 days post‑completion.
- Track project financials, maintain milestone schedules, provide regular status updates, and support continuous process improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related field.
- 10–15 years of project management experience covering all aspects of design and construction.
- Proven experience with project scope development, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and contract negotiations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, project scheduling software, and web‑based applications.
- Familiarity with architectural drawings, furniture/fixtures/equipment specifications, design and space‑planning concepts, and construction cost and schedule estimation.
- Architectural, engineering, or project management professional certification.
- LEED certification.
- PMP certification.
Up to 60% travel across the designated portfolio.
CompensationEstimated salary: $90,100.00 – $ USD per year.
LocationOn‑site – Honolulu, HI.
