Grade 5 - Plant Equipment Operator

The Plant Equipment Operator is responsible for operating forklifts and other transport equipment to move materials, unload/load trucks, and support daily plant operations. This role ensures a safe and efficient workplace while maintaining compliance with company policies, safety guidelines, and food safety practices.

• Operate forklifts and transport equipment to move bins, fruit, packed product, and supplies
• Load/unload incoming and outgoing trucks, including grower shipments
• Prepare delivery receipts, shipping documents, and airway bills as needed
• Inspect and perform minor repairs/adjustments on equipment
• Assist with repairs and servicing of equipment
• Maintain clean and safe work areas, following all safety and food safety procedures
• Support utility crew operations, including repair/maintenance of treatment bins

• High school diploma preferred (not required)
• One year of forklift driving experience required
