Production Manager – Conjugate Manufacturing
The base pay range for this position is: $99,930 - $137,401. The position may be commission eligible, with commission eligibility terms in accordance with the company's plan.
Responsibilities- Lead a team of Biochemists that manufacture bioconjugate components of immunoassay reagents.
- Support production scheduling, purchasing of externally sourced raw materials, and ensure production processes are completed expediently without sacrificing quality.
- Assist with problem solving and technical troubleshooting of conjugate manufacturing processes and associated equipment.
- Demonstrate expertise in protein biochemistry, especially bioconjugation techniques.
- Utilize expertise in size exclusion chromatography, including mastery of FPLC operation and troubleshooting.
- Perform manufacturing resource planning, especially familiarity with SAP PP and MM modules.
- Monitor key performance indicators for production timeliness and customer satisfaction, ensuring Class A Manufacturing performance.
- Apply Lean manufacturing principles to improve productivity while minimizing waste.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry, or equivalent experience (required).
- 5‑8 years of reagent manufacturing experience, including experience in a GMP/GDP environment.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, strong work ethic, and professional demeanor.
- Excellent interpersonal, team orientation, communication, and customer orientation skills.
- Strong knowledge of protein biochemistry, bioconjugation techniques, and size exclusion chromatography.
- Operational knowledge of FPLC systems and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with SAP PP and MM modules for production planning.
- Experience with Lean manufacturing initiatives.
