Job Description
Job Summary:
LPN - Clinic provides direct nursing support in an ambulatory outpatient setting across multiple clinic departments. The role supports patient care through routine clinical tasks, documentation, and coordination with the care team.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver day-to-day nursing care for patients in FP/BH/OB/UC settings.
- Assist providers with rooming patients, vital signs, and basic clinical assessments.
- Administer medications and perform routine treatments per established protocols.
- Document patient information accurately in the appropriate medical record system.
- Prepare and maintain clinical supplies, exam areas, and patient care equipment.
- Support clinic workflow by assisting at other clinic locations when coverage is required.
- Hold an active LPN license (or equivalent credential required by state regulations).
- Demonstrate prior clinic experience in an outpatient/ambulatory environment.
- Prior experience in Family Practice, Behavioral Health, Internal Medicine, or similar settings preferred.
- Possess strong knowledge of basic nursing care, medication administration, and infection control.
- Show proficiency with clinical documentation and accuracy in charting.
- Communicate professionally and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced clinic team.
- Build versatile outpatient experience across multiple clinic services and patient populations.
- Develop stronger coordination skills with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Enhance clinical confidence through exposure to varied ambulatory care workflows.
