Overview

Registered Nurse – ER, traveling assignment in Hawaii (Kapaau area) starting 08/19/2026 for 13 weeks. Earn $2,357 to $2,499 per week with rotating, 12-hour shifts. This is a hospital setting with float coverage between Med-Surg and Emergency Department units. Strong EPIC experience is required.

• Setting:
  Hospital travel assignment; float Med-Surg/ED duties in a critical access hospital environment
• EPIC experience required

• Float between Med-Surg and Emergency Department units, delivering RN care to adult and geriatric patients as needs dictate
• Triage, assess, monitor, and document patient status; administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Perform patient procedures within scope; manage IV therapy, wound care, and ongoing patient monitoring
• Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and patient flow
• Document thoroughly in the EPIC electronic medical record; ensure accuracy and compliance with privacy and safety standards
• Respond to emergent situations and support code responses as needed; participate in discharge planning and patient education

• Active RN license in Hawaii or eligibility for Hawaii licensure
• Minimum 13-week contract expectation with the ability to float across units as assigned
• Strong EPIC EMR experience required
• Prior ER and/or Med-Surg float experience preferred; hospital setting experience required
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and patient safety focus
