MKRS Grounds Pool & Pond Tender
Primary Responsibilities:
Clean and scrub pools, ponds, spas, etc. within the resort property or private residences.
Responsible for checking and cleaning the filter, skimmer and strainer baskets.
Check pumps to make sure it is operating properly.
Check for leaks in filter and pipes.
Hose down pool decks and does other related tasks assigned by manager.
Essential Duties:
- Clean and scrub pools, ponds, spas assigned following hotel standard procedures.
- Inspect work area to insure there are no leaks or other concerns.
- Visually inspect pool, pond or spa water level.
- Hose down and clean pool deck and furniture.
- Check pump/heater to insure that it is operating properly.
- Will do minor repair to filters and pumps.
- Report irregularities or concerns to manager.
- Complete all tasks on check list.
- Complete work assignments in a timely manner.
- Assist with special projects.
- Perform duties following safety procedures and policies.
- Secure entrance to the property upon leaving.
- Maintain a record of supplies and chemicals used at each residence.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or required.
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Travel throughout the resort to private residences.
- Must be able to enter pools and spas.
- Must be able to work shift and days set by the Manager.
- Must be able to work over 40 hours per week.
- Ability to use the telephone or radio.
- Cleaning tools i.e. pole, net, brush.
- Pool and spa vacuum
- Submersible pump.
- Miscellaneous tools i.e. ladder, wrench, socket set, pliers, bolo knife, brush.
- Utility cart.
- Ability to prioritize and organize workload.
- Able to stand and walk during most of shift.
- Climb in and out of pools and spas.
- Carry tools and equipment up to 25 pounds.
- Must have the ability to communicate verbally to employees, managers, homeowners and guests/clients.
- Ability to communicate over the phone or radio.
- Must be able to swim
- Driver's License required to operate company vehicle/equipment
- Safely operate vehicles/equipment
