About the role

To maintain , upkeep and beautify the Hotel garden areas both interior and exterior gardens / landscape. To be able to see Landscape defects and implement necessary changes that maintain or improve the aesthetic quality of the garden. To foresee gardens needs and anticipate time, labor and material requirements to accomplish solutions. To be able to anticipate the needs of our guests and their expectations especially as they relate to the garden

What you will do Detail gardening;
Trimming, weeding, Policing for trash and leaf litter, filling v oids and dead spots

Work the team on special projects and larger installations and enhancements

Clean as you go Planning and ordering materials necessary to succeed in your direct area of responsibility .Ongoing education in safety, gardening essentials, chemical handling, Tree care, irrigation

What you bring

Previous experience in agricultural operations and or Facility landscape maintenance is highly desirable

Desirable but not required ;
Irrigation skills, Plant propagation, Understanding of plant growth and culture.

Experience in weed and pest control. Arboriculture.

Experience with customer relations and anticipatory service

Required:

Ability to operate and maintain various small equipment. Understanding of Safety and hazardous materials. Ability to read and write simple reports.

Ability to operate small utility vehicles.

Desirable certifications are;
Certified Arborist, Pest control applicator, Industry certified Landscape technician.

• Full time
• The hospitality business functions seven (7) days a week, twenty-four (24) hours a day and scheduled days and times may vary based on  part of a cohesive team with opportunities to build a successful career with global potential.
