Haleakala National Park is seeking an Individual Placement - Botany Field Technician to support the park's botany team. The role includes working in the park nursery, propagating native plants, and helping to control invasive species under National Park Service supervision.
Preference is given to local candidates with knowledge of Native Hawaiian plants. The position runs September 28, 2026 to March 12, 2027, in Makawao, HI, with field duties and remote backcountry tasks as part of the program.
