Physiologist
Serve as a physiologist overseeing the operations of the Department of Clinical Investigation (DCI). Support the development, review, and approval of research protocols, ensuring full compliance with federal and institutional standards. Guide research staff on the acquisition and handling of extramural research resources. Provide constructive reviews for staff in writing of research protocols, manuscripts, and presentations. Conduct lectures, workshops, and seminars to graduate medical education faculty on physiology to include cardiovascular, renal or neuroendocrinology.
Mentor new civilian and military personnel on physiological research principles.
