Restaurant Duty Manager
Monitors operations of a restaurant or assigned area, normally during absence of the manager and assistant manager, and normally at night or on weekends. Reviews the schedule of functions that are to take place during the assigned shift and ensures they are carried out as planned by management. Placing weekly orders for food and supplies. Purchasing with government issued P-Card. Assist with balancing daily financial intake.
Provides instruction and guidance to all restaurant staff members on functions taking place during the shift. Ensures that only authorized personnel use the facility, and that restaurant rules, regulations and established procedures are followed. Prepares a report of all significant occurrences during the shift. Maintains order in the facility. Assures patron satisfaction by resolving complaints and other customer problems. Responds to emergencies.
Ensures adherence with security, safety, sanitation, cash handling and property control procedures. Inspects and secures facility at the end of the shift. Performs other duties as assigned.
