Kalapawai Cafe and Deli Waimanalo is hiring for the position of line cook. We seek friendly, well-organized, and energetic individuals to join our kitchen crew. Must be available to work weekends and holidays. 36-40 hrs. a week. full time/part time $16/hr.+ tips (avg $4- $6/hr. added to paycheck) = $20- $22/hr we offer medical with Kaiser Permanente or HMSA (paid by employer) 401K 25% employee discount
Requirements/Responsibilities- Non-slip shoes.
- Prompt attendance is a must!!!
- Flexible availability, weekends, and holidays
- Must be very clean, well organized, and able to move from station to station efficiently
- Basic knife skills are a bonus but we are willing to train
- Daily kitchen prep for both lunch and dinner services
- General cleaning and facilities maintenance
- Other duties may be assigned from time to time
- Ability to work in a team in a very fast-paced environment
- Adhere to the chef's recipes and preferred cooking techniques
- Food safety and sanitation is key!
