Foodland Super Market, Hawaii’s largest locally owned grocery retailer, is hiring an Assistant Bakery Manager to join our team!

This is an hourly position, and we offer a comprehensive benefits package (specifics vary based on position and classification).

• Perform all duties and job functions of an experienced Bakery Clerk.
• Follow approved procedures for receiving product, price marking, and restocking cases to ensure quality protection, accuracy, and product rotation.
• Follow all inventory control procedures to maximize product freshness, quality, turnover, and availability for maximum sales.
• Assist customers and properly merchandise products in display cases and price correctly according to company standards.
• Assume the responsibility of Bakery Manager in their absence.

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• High school education preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 70 pounds.
• Must pass a physical test.
• Minimum 1 year experience in bakery department operations.
• Must have Tuberculosis Clearance required or be willing to take a test upon offer.
• Compliance with all company policies and requirements.
• Reliable commute to work on time.
• Open availability for various shifts as needed.
