Salary Range: $16.00 To $18.00 Hourly

The Grocery / Frozen & Chill Clerk is responsible for receiving, stocking, and maintaining merchandise across grocery, frozen, and refrigerated departments. This role ensures shelves and displays are well-stocked, clean, and organized while delivering excellent customer service and supporting overall store operations.

• Stock, rotate, and replenish products in grocery, frozen, and chill areas.
• Receive, unload, and verify deliveries against invoices.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with reordering and replenishment.
• Inspect products for quality and proper condition prior to display.
• Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing shelves, cases, and displays.
• Ensure accurate pricing, labeling, and signage.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards, especially in refrigerated and frozen areas.
• Provide prompt, courteous, and helpful customer service.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including sweeping and mopping as needed.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred (minimum 3 months).
• Basic math, reading, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs; occasional lifting up to 100 lbs.
• Regular bending, reaching, and stocking activities.
• Ability to work in cold, wet, and refrigerated environments.
• Exposure to moving equipment, dust, and moderate noise levels.
