As a Security Officer on the afternoon shift, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage. Your role includes supporting smooth entry operations, observing for security-related concerns, and providing professional customer service.

Position type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.12 / Hour

Job Schedule: Mon & Tue 03:00 PM – 11:00 PM

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Screen employees, visitors, vendors, and deliveries entering the location in accordance with site access protocols.
• Monitor entry points and verify identification, credentials, and authorization for access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, adapting to varying work environments.

• Preferred customer service experience.
• Preferred guard card and/or license.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will undergo a background investigation in accordance with all applicable laws.
• Applicants may be considered with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants may be required to undergo a drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws; may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license is required only for driving positions.
