Security Officer

Technology Partners is currently seeking a talented Security Officer.

You will be responsible for the proactive safeguarding of site properties and for the professional handling of security-related calls. This role involves serving as a liaison with law enforcement, responding to emergencies, and ensuring the protection of employees, physical assets, and intellectual property through diligent patrol and incident reporting.

• Perform mobile patrols of the site, including roadways and parking lots.
• Protect the site from trespassers, illegal entry, theft, or damage to company property.
• Investigate and respond to calls for service, intrusion alarms, and equipment alarms.
• Provide emergency services, including rescue, CPR, and first aid during sudden illness or injury.
• Prepare clear, accurate, and professional computer-generated reports of incidents and activities.
• Maintain order and safety for employees and visitors during emergency situations and evacuations.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure security policies and procedures are implemented effectively.

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Law enforcement, military, and/or corporate security experience is mandatory.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a State of Hawaii "Guard Card" per HRS 463-10.5.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and the ability to maintain all required certifications.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to prepare succinct written reports.
• Experience with basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.
• Availability to work rotating shifts, including weekends, overtime, and shifts exceeding eight hours when necessary.

• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• The ability to work autonomously with limited supervision while making sound decisions under changing conditions.
• Experience participating in or leading security training, workshops, or employee awareness campaigns.

$15.40 - $22.00 /hr.
