Security Officer Part Time Screening Agent

Schedule:

• Mon: 09:00 AM – 05:00 PM
• Tue: 09:00 AM – 05:00 PM

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site‑specific screening procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen individuals and selected items entering the location in accordance with post orders, reporting irregularities, and escalating concerns to site contacts when needed.
• Respond to incidents, policy concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner while documenting relevant details and supporting security‑related operations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, noting unusual activity, checking designated areas, and helping to deter unauthorized access.

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
