Full-time Security Officer with The Resort at Papakea, located in Lahaina, Hawaii.

• Responsible for ensuring the building is a safe and secure environment at all times.
• Maintain a close working relationship with the police and alarm monitoring services.
• Ensure proper building safety and security measures are followed at all times.
• Maintain up-to-date information of events, both current and future, occurring in the city and county.
• Answer the telephone in a pleasant and professional manner within three rings.
• Maintain a clean, neat and orderly desk at all times.
• Respond to all resident and/or guest requests in an expeditious manner.

• Two years related security experience and/or training, preferably in resorts/hotels.
• Possess excellent verbal and people skills.
• The ability to read, write and speak English fluently; you must be able to analyze and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports, incident reports, and correspondence.
• Must have a valid Hawaii Guard license and First Aid/AED certification.

• Hourly Pay Rate: $28.92 /hr
