Kona Security Officer

Securitas is hiring a Kona Security Officer to protect people, property, and assets for clients in the local area. In this role, you will conduct patrols, monitor access control and CCTV, respond to incidents, and enforce client policies with professionalism and courtesy. You'll complete detailed reports, support emergency and safety procedures, and provide outstanding customer service. Responsibilities

• Perform routine patrols of client facilities to deter and detect security or safety issues
• Monitor access points, verify identification, and manage visitor/vehicle entry
• Observe and report incidents, hazards, and suspicious activity in clear written reports
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents according to post and client procedures
• Operate and monitor CCTV and security systems as assigned
• Provide professional, customer-focused assistance to clients, visitors, and employees
• Enforce client policies, site rules, and safety procedures respectfully and consistently
• Communicate effectively via radio, phone, and written logs with supervisors and clients
• Support emergency response, evacuations, and safety drills as required
• Participate in required training, certifications, and ongoing professional development
