We are seeking a Skilled Plumber who will serve as a key trades professional-performing installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems while ensuring safe, reliable, and code-compliant water, gas, and drainage operations to support daily facility needs and long-term infrastructure integrity.

What You'll Do
- Installs and repairs sinks, showers, toilets, water heaters, and related plumbing fixtures.
- Estimates time and material costs on plumbing projects, interpreting blueprints, quotes, and other plans, as well as verbal instructions.
- Inspects and repairs plumbing infrastructure, including sprinklers, underground storm/ water supply/ sewer lines.
- Inspects completed work to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and local building codes.
This is a critical skilled trades role that helps maintain safe, reliable, and fully functioning plumbing systems to support daily operations, facilities, and guest experiences throughout the Center.
Requirements
- Good understanding of maintenance operations, all applicable OSHA rules and regulations.
- Hawaii Driver's license.
- Good health, and have good eye-sight and manual dexterity.
- Capable of full range of body movement.
- Able to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Able to communicate in English
- Read and understand blueprints.
- High school graduate, or the equivalent.
- Must adhere to the Polynesian Cultural Center's Code of Conduct and mission-driven standards
