Duties SummaryPerforms routine manual and semi‑skilled tasks and assists a building maintenance worker or a skilled building tradesperson in building maintenance and repair work relevant to the carpentry, plumbing, painting, and electrical trades; performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualification Requirements- Legal authorization to work:
The State of Hawaii requires all persons seeking employment with the government of the State to be citizens, nationals, or permanent resident aliens of the United States, or eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment in the United States. - Experience and training:
Two (2) years of work experience in performing a variety of building maintenance repair work, or any equivalent combination of training and experience. - Driver's license:
Some positions require possession of a valid driver's license at the time of appointment. - Special requirement:
Forklift certification within six months from the date of hire.
