Imagine Development is seeking a skilled and dependable Journeyman Mason to join its growing field team on the Big Island. This role is ideal for an experienced tradesman who takes pride in high-quality workmanship, reliability, professionalism, and doing the job right the first time. The right candidate will have strong experience in structural concrete and masonry work, including form work, reinforced concrete walls, slabs, CMU block installation, and concrete finishing.

This position requires someone who can work independently, maintain high craftsmanship standards, and contribute positively to a team-oriented job site environment. We are looking for a true tradesman — someone who is honest, dependable, skilled with their hands, communicates well, takes ownership of their work, and understands the value of integrity and professionalism on a construction site.

• Build and set forms for slabs, reinforced concrete walls, stairs, and related structural work
• Perform snap tie forming and related concrete forming systems
• Install and build CMU block walls and columns accurately and efficiently
• Place and tie structural reinforcement as required by plans and specifications
• Perform high-quality concrete finishing, including stamped and colored concrete finishes
• Read and interpret construction plans and layout requirements
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites
• Coordinate effectively with field teams and project leadership
• Ensure work meets quality, safety, and schedule expectations

• 5+ years of masonry and concrete construction experience preferred
• Strong experience with concrete formwork and structural concrete systems
• Experience with snap tie forming required
• Skilled in CMU block installation and reinforced masonry construction
• Strong concrete finishing skills, including stamping and color finishes
• Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• High level of craftsmanship and attention to detail
• Honest, dependable, and professional attitude
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Must own a truck and have personal concrete and masonry tools
• Understanding of or ability to adapt to Hawaii's local culture and work environment

• Concrete and masonry work is completed accurately, efficiently, and to a high standard of craftsmanship
• Job sites remain organized, safe, and productive with minimal supervision required
• Projects stay on schedule because materials, layout, and execution are handled proactively
• Team members, subcontractors, and clients experience professionalism, accountability, and dependable communication on-site
