Job Overview
Rentokil is a global leader in pest control, providing services across more than 90 countries. We are seeking Termite Technicians to protect customers’ properties from wood-destroying organisms. The role involves inspection, prevention, and treatment services to ensure customer peace of mind.
Responsibilities- Identify termite problems and determine remedial steps based on termite behaviors.
- Perform termite treatments safely and according to company guidelines and standard practices.
- Apply anti-termite treatments to structures following schedules, safety procedures, and label instructions.
- Communicate to customers critical conditions conducive to termite activity and discuss procedures and potential structural modifications.
- Verify that job specifications are appropriate for each work order.
- Operate and maintain service vehicles and equipment.
- Complete production forms documenting services provided.
- Interact with customers and explain services performed.
- Prepare job sites for treatment and work in various environmental conditions.
- Enter and exit structures, crawl spaces, and work on ladders, stairs, and scaffolding up to 20 feet high.
- Wear personal protective equipment, including OSHA‑compliant respirators.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license from the state of residence; company vehicle and gas card provided.
- At least 1 year of customer service experience; experience in termite control is a plus.
- Clean shaven face for safety reasons (rebreathers require a proper seal).
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work in confined spaces, narrow aisles, or passageways.
- Flexible with working hours, Monday‑Friday and Saturdays as needed.
- Basic math skills for following mix instructions on product labels.
- Licenses/certificates required by federal, state, and/or local regulations (covered by us).
Hourly pay range: $19.00 – $21.00. Pay may vary by location, skills, education, and experience. Total earnings may also be affected by overtime, incentives, commissions, performance, and route assignment.
