Mobile Maintenance Mechanic

Overview

The Mobile Maintenance Mechanic supports operation, inspection, and maintenance processes for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment and systems in assigned facilities.

• Assist maintenance and repair efforts, performing defined tasks.
• Perform inspections and repairs to assigned property interior and exterior areas, including walls, flooring, installed fixtures, roofing systems, lighting, and more.
• Maintain lighting system bulbs and ballasts.
• Assist the operations team with building and equipment maintenance and repair.
• General interior maintenance: hang pictures, install keyboard trays, repair office furniture systems.
• Handle minor plumbing repairs.
• Complete special tasks such as painting, locksmith work, tenant services requests, and other general maintenance as assigned.
• Move office furniture, machinery, equipment, and other materials as requested.
• Perform facility inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting conditions that affect client occupancy and operations.
• Be on call for after-hours emergencies.
• Comply with all safety procedures, maintain good housekeeping, and protect safety of work areas.
• Recognize danger and safety hazards and propose methods to eliminate them.
• Maintain compliance with state, county, or city ordinances, codes, or laws.
• Adhere to policies for the safe storage, use, and disposal of hazardous materials.
• Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational training programs.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Document work performance and materials procurement as directed.

• Minimum 3+ years of applicable experience in general building repair and maintenance, basic plumbing, and basic electrical.
• Valid state driver's license.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 80 pounds, use ladders up to 30 feet, and climb, bend, kneel, and drive.
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently or in a team.
• Other operational tasks as may be typically expected.

• Completion of an applicable technical training program.

Estimated compensation: $60,800.00 – $88,200.00 USD per year. The range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ.

This position does not provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
