Role DescriptionIndependently performs skilled mechanical repair work in the adjustment, maintenance, and repair of a wide variety of machinery and equipment such as water pumps, mechanical laundry equipment, and continuing work assignments in accordance with diagrams. Other duties include inspection, repair, and conducting preventative maintenance on mechanical equipment in tunnels and on tunnel approaches; conducting and reporting on structural inspections of tunnels and viaducts;
reading operating manuals while following the manufacturer's specifications, basic trade practices, and other related duties as assigned.

Experience and TrainingThree (3) years of work experience in performing mechanical repair and maintenance of a wide variety of mechanical and electrical equipment, or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
Driver's LicenseApplicants must possess a valid driver's license at the time of appointment.
