• Work as a critical member of a solar installation construction team in partnership with the Foreperson and Lead Installer to complete residential solar installation projects.
• Ensure personal, crew, and job-site safety at all times and participate in training on new products, installation methods, and safety.
• Review inventory at the loading dock to ensure the assigned crew truck is stocked adequately.
• Complete layout and assemble solar modules, racking, mechanical and structural mounts, electrical equipment, and tools as specified in the project plan.
• Apply weather sealing to roofing structures, buildings, or support mechanisms as required.
• Perform project cleanup on-site and in the installation vehicle to maintain a clean and orderly work environment.

• Previous solar, construction, or military experience is preferred but not required.
• Adherence to company safety policies and procedures, including identifying and reporting hazards and encouraging others to work safely.
• Ability to interact with customers and coworkers in a courteous and professional manner.
• Demonstrated ability to meet due dates, metrics, and deliver results both individually and as part of a fast-paced, team-based environment.

• Ability to transport materials and equipment up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Work on rooftops with various angles and surfaces, including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, climbing, kneeling, crawling, turning, standing, and balance.
• Ability to climb ladders and work in outdoor weather conditions (noise, heat, cold, wet conditions, humidity).
• Fine motor skills for manipulating small components; use of protective equipment; work at heights and in confined spaces such as attics, basements, and crawl spaces.
• Ability to distinguish colors and hear verbal commands and warnings.
