Full‑time Grounds Maintenance Person responsible for maintaining the entrance, parking lot, clubhouse grounds and ornamental areas on the property. The role requires independent judgment and care of lawns, landscape beds, street trees, parking lot trees, irrigation systems, and general grounds of the Club.

Full‑time employees receive company‑provided medical coverage, vacation and sick pay, paid holidays, 401k, and staff golfing privileges.

• Safely operates equipment such as hand tools and small equipment.
• Performs routine safety inspections on all equipment pre‑ and post‑use.
• Has complete knowledge of operating equipment safely and reads and interprets safety tags.
• May sit, stand, stoop, climb ladders, and walk for long periods of time.
• Assists Mechanic with preventive maintenance on equipment—changed oil and filter, greased moving parts, air up and/or changed tires, sharpened or changed blades, belts, springs, chains; cleaned by pressure washing or with compressed air; sanded, primed, and painted rust areas.
• Communicates effectively with other employees in the Maintenance department and Pro Shop area.
• Performs road repairs and improvements—loads and hauls rock or hot/cold asphalt mix for patching holes, fills cracks with asphalt emulsion, installs, repairs, and cleans culverts.
• Uses hand tools to perform repairs and tasks such as jackhammer, shovels, rakes, hoes, levelers, chainsaws, pruners, trimmers, bow saws and other small hand tools as required.
• Performs manual labor for extended periods under some unfavorable weather conditions.

• Regularly reaches with hands and arms; frequently stands, walks, and operates objects, tools, controls.
• Occasionally sits, climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, or crouches.
• Exposed to wet and extreme hot or cold weather, fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and vibration.
• Occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock.
• Must lift, pull, and lift 50 pounds and occasionally lift or move, with assistance, more than 85 pounds.

• Basic knowledge of proper methods of maintenance, care, and installation of landscape beds, lawns, trees, irrigation systems, and general grounds of the Club.
• Basic knowledge of care and proper use of tools and equipment used in the development and maintenance of lawns, landscape beds, trees, hardscape areas, and general grounds of the Club.
• Basic knowledge of turf diseases, plant diseases, insects, chemicals, and proper control methods.
• Ability to distinguish between cleaning materials, fungicides, and herbicides and read label information.
• Ability to work with the golfing public in a courteous and responsible manner.
