Join a group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth! Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Night Shift Youth Care Worker at Pearl Haven in Haleiwa, HI

Pearl Haven is a specialized facility on the north shore of Oahu that provides trauma informed therapeutic services for girls ages 11-17 who have experienced complex trauma or are diagnosed with serious emotional and behavioral disturbances to try and help them heal from their trauma.

Pay: starting at $23/hour (including 4 hours of overtime guaranteed every pay period)

What you will do:
  • As a Night Youth Care Worker, you’ll provide safety and around-the-clock supervision for the youth in our program and provide an atmosphere that is supportive of the needs of the students.
  • You’ll monitor and document student behaviors and activities, participate and assist with educational, social, athletic and recreational activities, and work in collaboration with other professional staff to establish and/or meet the goals of each student’s treatment plan.
To be considered you should:
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Applicants should be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical and TB test.
  • Applicants should be empathetic, patient and have a desire to work with troubled teens.

Schedule:
  • We have two shifts available:

    - Sunday through Wednesday (7pm-8am, and you work every other Wednesday)
  • Wednesday through Saturday (You work every other Wednesday and Thursday through Saturday 7pm-8am)
