Truck Driver Laborer - Honoka'a​/Hamakua, Hawaii

Duties Summary

Operates medium and heavy trucks as regular work assignment, performs operational maintenance, and conducts manual, unskilled and semi‑skilled work in the general construction and maintenance of roads and adjacent areas. Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Experience & Training: One (1) year of manual, unskilled and semi‑skilled work experience in general construction and/or building repair and maintenance, including operation of medium trucks (1‑1/2 tons or more, up to 5 tons) and heavy trucks (greater than 5 tons). Equivalent combinations of training and experience are acceptable.
• CDL License: Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class
  
  B) with endorsement N (tank vehicles 1000 gallon or more capacity) and no restriction codes E (manual transmission), J (automatic or synchromesh transmission), and L (air brakes) at the time of application. Out‑of‑state CDL may be accepted if transferred to a Hawaii‑issued CDL before employment begins.
