We are seeking a dynamic and highly‑skilled Accounting Manager to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will manage financial functions including balance sheet accounts, reconciliation, and financial reporting. You will also provide strategic guidance around capital financing options to support company growth.
Responsibilities- Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
- Manage the accuracy and productivity of day‑to‑day activities of accounts payable, cash disbursements, invoicing/billing, customer credits and collections, payroll, perpetual inventory integrity, fixed asset records, general & entity accounting, cost accounting, and Human Resources.
- Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings ensuring accuracy of financial statements.
- Prepare and present financial reports for management, board, and stakeholders.
- Ensure company financial systems are compliant with all relevant regulations.
- Manage and track the performance of invested assets in keeping with policies and investment guidelines.
- Liaise with auditors and manage internal controls.
- Provide insightful information and expectations to senior executives to aid in long‑term and short‑term decision making.
- Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field;
Master’s degree or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification preferred. - A minimum of 5 years of professional accounting experience.
- Proven working experience as Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor or Finance Manager.
- Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases.
- Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to direct and supervise.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments.
- Excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyze financial reports and forecasts.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across different teams and with senior management.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwards.
