Montessori Preschool Floater

Become part of Discovery, a vibrant, high-quality Montessori community for children aged 12 weeks to 6 years.

We are conducting a search for a substitute teacher/floater to help children fulfill their developmental potential in an authentically prepared, inspiring Montessori environment. Montessori experience is not required, but we welcome educators who have an appreciation for -- and are open to learning more about -- the method. We provide training.

• Completion of at least 12 college‑level early childhood education credits (including at least three credits in infant/toddler care and development)
• Enjoy working with young children
• Are warm, joyful, and professional
• Have valid CPR and first aid certification, or willingness to become CPR and first‑aid certified before you begin employment
• Have negative TB test results within the last 12 months or willingness to take a TB test that shows negative results before your first day of employment
• Are a U.S. citizen or green‑card holder

• Have experience working in high‑quality preschools, particularly Montessori preschools
• Have interest in creating experiences for young children in the areas of art, music, gardening, or science
