You’ll design everything from micro‑scale features to large tooling systems, collaborate closely with electrical, optical, firmware, and process engineers, and directly influence how next‑generation hardware moves from prototype to factory floor. • Design mechanical components and assemblies from initial requirements through supplier production and manufacturing ramp
• Develop parts across a wide range of scales, from micro‑feature components to large structural hardware and tooling
• Perform structural and thermal analysis to validate performance and reliability
• Partner closely with electrical, firmware, optical, and process engineering teams to deliver tightly integrated systems
• Create fixtures, interfaces, and tooling to support high‑throughput manufacturing operations
• Support design for manufacturability, assembly optimization, and continuous production improvements
• Translate first‑principles engineering concepts into practical, scalable hardware solutions

• BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline
• CAD proficiency with hands‑on project experience
• Strong foundation in mechanical fundamentals and first‑principles problem solving
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative engineering environment

• Experience with structural, thermal, or multiphysics analysis tools (ANSYS Mechanical, Icepak, Fluent, or similar)
• 3+ years of direct experience in a mechanical engineering role supporting product development or manufacturing
• Exposure to electro‑mechanical systems, precision hardware, or advanced manufacturing environments
• Experience designing for production, tooling, or high‑rate assembly lines
