DevOps Engineer

Thinkom Solutions is a leader in innovative, cutting‑edge antenna technology, enabling global connectivity for commercial and military applications. We are seeking a talented and motivated Dev Ops Engineer to join our small and exciting team. The ideal candidate will be a technical leader with a passion for automating deployments for software (on‑premise and cloud) and embedded systems. This role is critical to our success, and you will have a significant impact on our products and customers.

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for our software and embedded systems.
• Automate the deployment, monitoring, and scaling of our infrastructure on AWS and on‑premise environments.
• Write and modify RESTful APIs to support our automation and integration efforts.
• Manage and maintain our development and production environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other members of the team.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in our development, test, and production environments.

• MS or BS in Computer Science or related engineering field
• 6+ years of experience in Dev Ops roles, with a focus on embedded systems.
• Proficiency in AWS, Jenkins, JFrog, and Git actions.
• Strong experience with Python
• Proven ability to write and modify RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Rabbit
  
  MQ, Trino, and Ansible.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts.
• Excellent problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.

• Interpersonal skills to effectively work with Thin Kom people internally as well as working effectively with suppliers and customers
• Ability to effectively present information in team meetings and design reviews, as needed

• Ability to communicate calmly in a well thought out response, verbal and written
• Must have substantial problem‑solving abilities

• Must be able to obtain and hold a US DoD Security Clearance
