Lead Comm Systems Engineer: Secure Networks

We are looking for a Lead Communications Systems Engineer who wants to bridge the gap between complex physics and real-world deployment, designing the secure, jam-resistant tactical networks of the future.

• Architect the Network: Lead the design and implementation of highly secure, distributed communication networks, building intelligent hardware nodes that operate in contested environments.
• Master the Beam: Drive the development of Directional Communication Systems and Phased Array Antennas (AESA), electronically steering RF energy to maximize throughput.
• Own the Spectrum: From initial link budget calculations and waveform simulation in MATLAB/Python to hardware integration, you own the communication system lifecycle.
• Bridge the Gap: Navigate the Systems Engineering V-model to ensure tactical links survive real-world electronic warfare (EW) threats and GPS-denied environments.

• The DNA: 8 to 12+ years of experience in high-consequence communications environments (Defense Tech, Aerospace, New Space, or Cutting-Edge Telecom).
• The Stack: Deep technical expertise in RF systems, Digital Signal Processing (DSP), and beamforming
  . Proficiency in MATLAB, Simulink, or Python is required.
• The Mindset: You understand the physics of the battlespace, including multi-path interference, jamming, and strict SWaP-C constraints.
• The Background: Exposure to tactical data links (
  Link 16, MADL
  ), SATCOM on-the-move (SOTM), or Free Space Optics (FSO/Lasercom).
