Job Description:
- Responsible for managing and tracking Capital Expenditures Budgets
- Responsible for the fixed assets process, which includes the recording of new assets, disposals and calculation/posting of depreciation
- Support with budget planning for the company as a whole, as well as for their 25 restaurants
- Develop and drive financial reporting, analytics, and operation metrics tracking
- Perform variance analysis and summarized key findings
- Respond to Operations and vendor inquiries and resolve challenges in a quick efficient manner
- Assist with cash flow management
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close, including oversight of company-wide consolidation process
- Support the preparation and review of financial statement
- Support with the preparation of the annual financial statements in conjunction with the annual financial statement audit
- Manage priorities and issues where conflicts arise
- Other ad hoc duties as assigned
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
- Able to communicate complex information to a variety of audiences
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines and maintaining strong attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or Finance Required
- Solid understanding of GAAP and finance principles
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry is preferred, but not required
- Prior experience with complex consolidations is preferred, but not required
- Experience with Compeat Advantage, Ctuit, and Plate IQ are highly desired
