The Mission Operations Specialist is the frontline technical representative supporting internal R&D, deployed systems, and customer operations. The role focuses on fielding and troubleshooting CHAOS Systems in operational environments, building trust, and delivering flawless execution.

• System Deployment & Fielding
  • Coordinate, plan, and set up internal R&D testing, customer demonstrations, exercises, and deliveries.
  • Support installation, configuration, integration, and fielding of company systems.
  • Cross‑functionally coordinate with logistics, engineering, and program teams to ensure successful deployments.
  • Serve as the customer’s most trusted tactical partner.

  • Maintain intimate product knowledge and be hands‑on with hardware in the field.
  • Lead basic system troubleshooting, support engineering teams, and provide clear reproduction steps.
  • Escalate complex technical issues to engineering while providing operational context.
  • Work full‑time onsite at our Headquarters in Hawthorne, CA with regular CONUS/OCONUS travel required for product testing and customer deliveries (≈50%).
• 3+ years of experience supporting military, government, or enterprise technology systems.
• Solution‑oriented mindset with strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and networking environments.
• Experience with tactical communications, networking, sensors, UAS, C2 systems, or AI‑enabled platforms.
• Hands‑on engineering mentality – enjoys working with hardware components.
• Ability to seamlessly organize and navigate overseas engagements, operating in remote areas and mitigating risk to mission and personnel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and communication software (Slack, Teams, Zoom).
• Active U.S. security clearance or ability to obtain one.

• Bachelor’s degree desired (not required) in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Military Science, or related field.
• Prior experience as FSR, FAE, Systems Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or Technical Operations Engineer with a hardware component.
• Knowledge of radar, RF, sensor, weapons systems, defense technology, and communications.
• Military background or extensive experience working with militaries.

Hourly Rate: $28.00 – $40.00 per hour. The stated range reflects only the targeted base compensation and excludes other earnings such as bonus, equity, and benefits.
