Overview

The Company are restoring America's ability to produce nuclear fuel. They design, build, and operate domestic uranium enrichment infrastructure—fuel that will power AI, advanced manufacturing, and the next generation of nuclear reactors. Incubated by Founders Fund and backed by top‑tier investors, they are a lean team of engineers and operators applying first‑principles thinking to one of the most critical challenges in energy and national security.

They move fast, hold themselves accountable, and build things that matter.

Responsibilities
  • Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise and lab networks across multiple buildings and facilities.
  • Architect and operate air‑gapped and isolated networks with strict segmentation, access control, and security monitoring.
  • Design and optimize HPC cluster networking to support simulation and engineering workloads requiring low‑latency, high‑throughput connectivity.
  • Configure and manage switching, routing, wireless, and firewall systems (Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper, or Uni Fi).
  • Implement and maintain fiber‑based WAN connectivity between buildings and remote sites.
  • Manage LAN/WAN infrastructure including VLANs, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, and QoS; integrate on‑prem and cloud networking across Azure and Microsoft 365 hybrid environments.
  • Deploy and maintain network monitoring and alerting systems (PRTG, Solar Winds, Grafana, Net Box, Datadog).
  • Build resilient architectures with redundancy, observability, and security baked in from the start.
  • Document network designs, configurations, and operational procedures in line with ITSM and change management best practices.
  • Partner with IT, security, and engineering teams to support secure, high‑performance operations.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience as a Network Engineer or in an equivalent technical role.
  • Proven experience designing and operating multi‑building or campus networks.
  • Strong hands‑on knowledge of fiber WAN, switching, routing, and firewalls (Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper, or Uni Fi).
  • Experience building and maintaining air‑gapped or segmented network environments.
  • Familiarity with HPC or other low‑latency, high‑throughput networking systems.
  • Proficiency with network monitoring, diagnostics, and alerting tools.
  • Deep understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, routing protocols, DNS, DHCP, and network security.
  • Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Ownership mindset — comfortable drawing up architecture and pulling up details.
Bonus
  • Background in defense, aerospace, or other regulated technical environments (GCC High, FedRAMP, ITAR).
  • Familiarity with Zero Trust, SDN, or network automation.
  • Scripting and automation experience in Python, Ansible, or Power Shell.
  • Exposure to ITSM, incident and change management, and configuration control.
  • Certifications:

CCNP, Fortinet NSE, Juniper JNCIP, or equivalent.
