Job Duties- Engage in the hands-on building, testing, and scaling of composite parts for aerospace and defense applications
- Collaborate with senior engineers to address and solve complex manufacturing challenges.
- Document issues and devise solutions to enhance manufacturing processes
- Conduct testing protocols to ensure parts meet rigorous aerospace and defense specifications.
- Continuously iterate new part designs to validate their performance and manufacturability.
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, or a related field with 1+ years of relevant experience
- Experience in composite manufacturing and design
- Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative team spirit
- Ability to adapt and learn from constructive feedback
- Experience with CNC or manual machining
- Proficiency in hydraulic or high-tonnage press operations
- Familiarity with injection molding or resin transfer molding
- Knowledge of vacuum bagging and autoclave processes
- Exposure to additive manufacturing techniques
