ELECTRON BEAM WELDER (DRAGON)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Operate CNC-controlled electron-beam (EB) welding machines including part set-up

* Develop, maintain, and evaluate weld schedules

* Upkeep general machine maintenance and test

* Utilize EB welding on several types of metal including titanium, stainless steel, copper, C103, and inconel

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

* High school diploma or equivalency certificate

* 1+ years of experience with TIG welding or a certificate of completion from an accredited program

PREFERRED

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

* 2+ years of experience in electron beam welding

* Experience with high and low voltage machine

* Experience with both manual and robotic welding applications

* Experience with TIG welding

* Knowledge of AWS D17.1

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

* Must be willing to work either 1st shift or 2nd shift, able to work overtime hours and weekends as needed

* Must be able to lift 25 lbs.

* Must be able to stand for extended periods - 8 hours min.

* Must be able to stoop, bend, crawl, and maneuver in tight spaces

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

Pay range:

Electron Beam Welder/Level 1: $23.00 - $27.00/hour

Electron Beam Welder/Level 2: $26.00 - $32.50/hour

Electron Beam Welder/Level 3: $31.00 - $38.00/hour

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
