Position Summary

We are seeking an energetic and detail‑oriented Senior Manufacturing Planner to lead the strategic coordination of production schedules, inventory control, and supply chain operations. In this pivotal role, you will drive manufacturing efficiency by leveraging advanced planning tools and systems to ensure seamless production flow, optimize resource utilization, and meet customer demand. Your expertise will empower our manufacturing processes to operate at peak performance, fostering continuous improvement and operational excellence across the manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities / Duties
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive production plans aligned with demand forecasts, capacity constraints, and inventory targets using ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle.
  • Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams including procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and sales to synchronize supply chain activities and ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Utilize MRP (Material Requirements Planning) tools to determine material needs, manage inventory levels, and minimize excess stock while avoiding shortages.
  • Lead demand planning efforts by analyzing historical data, market trends, and sales forecasts to accurately predict future requirements.
  • Monitor production schedules and adjust plans proactively to accommodate changes in demand or supply disruptions, ensuring optimal throughput.
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles to streamline processes, reduce waste, and improve overall efficiency within the manufacturing environment.
  • Oversee inventory management and control processes to maintain accurate stock levels, facilitate smooth operations, and support just‑in‑time delivery strategies.
  • Generate detailed reports on production performance, inventory status, and supply chain metrics to inform decision‑making at all levels of the organization.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing process bottlenecks and implementing best practices in manufacturing planning.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of planning activities, system updates, and compliance standards to support audit readiness.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in supply chain management or manufacturing planning within a fast‑paced production environment.
  • Strong proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle; experience with MRP modules is essential.
  • Deep understanding of demand planning techniques, forecasting methods, and inventory control strategies.
  • Hands‑on knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and their application in optimizing production workflows.
  • Familiarity with supply chain management concepts including procurement coordination, logistics integration, and capacity planning.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets for strategic decision‑making.
  • Effective communication skills for collaborating across departments and presenting insights clearly.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management or a related field is preferred; relevant certifications are a plus.
Pay Transparency

A reasonable estimate of the available {annual or hourly} pay scale for this position is: $75,000-$95,000 per year. The actual compensation offered may vary depending on qualifications and other factors essential to the performance of duties and is determined by the hiring authority.
