Forklift Operator/Sorter
Responsible for all day-to-day functions of material handling, including manual sorting, baling, and packaging of trash, plastic, styrofoam, wood, and cardboard for recycling. Works closely with warehouse staff to ensure efficient storage and inventory management.
Key Responsibilities- Manually sort and bale trash, plastic, styrofoam, wood, and cardboard.
- Prepare recyclable materials for loading and shipment.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of material inventory and movement.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Valid forklift operator license or willingness to obtain one.
- Experience with material handling or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
