Indigo Operator

Job Summary

The Indigo Operator will produce high-quality digital prints and positives while maintaining equipment performance and ensuring consistent accurate output.

• Operate Digital Printers:
  • Operates and monitors digital printing equipment to deliver high-quality output on time, with precision and accountability.
  • Supports efficient production by minimizing waste, maintaining equipment, and tracking performance, contributing to winning results.
• Quality Control:
  • Ensures product quality through consistent inspections and adherence to standards, doing right by people and customer expectations.
  • Identifies and resolves or escalates issues with a positive, team-oriented approach.
• Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
  • Performs routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime, demonstrating accountability.
  • Collaborates to resolve complex issues and maintain operational efficiency, reinforcing a work together mindset.

• Minimum of 3 years of previous HP Indigo press experience required.
• HP Indigo Level 2 or Level 3 certification is preferred.
• Strong understanding of screen-printing making and reclaiming processes preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and maintaining equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Working knowledge of basic computer systems and equipment controls for data entry, production tracking, and reporting.
• Ability to reliably commute to the work location and maintain consistent attendance.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, and twist throughout working hours.

• Visual acuity requirements: color, close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Ability to work with moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and toxic/caustic chemicals utilizing appropriate PPE.
